RMS Anura

The RMS Anura (biological order for Frogs) is a floating frog sanctuary based on the RMS Andania. This ‘A’ class Cunard ship was built in 1921 and transported passengers and timber from Canada into the site where Stave Hill now stands. The RMS Anura is a 1:100 scale model totalling 1.58m LOA, hand built from plywood with 3D printed detailing and a hollow inside that features an inbuilt frog friendly habitat, supplying shelter and a constant supply of insects through the two chimneys.

Currently in location at Stave Hill Ecological Park in Rotherhithe, South London on
